The Year of Preparation

The New Year is a time where everyone is hopeful for the future. This is the perfect time to set your intentions and be clear on what you want to accomplish and bring into fruition. A year ago today, I had a car accident. It was an aha moment for me to just slow down. I was about to start my year off the same. Five-hundred dollars later, I would say that God definitely got my attention.

Ask yourself, am I about to start this New Year off differently or the same as last year?

Bad habits are hard to break and easy to maintain. Do you want to be the same person? Doing the same things? Having the same conversations? Talking about the same people? In the same toxic relationship? Hanging with the same people? Having the same attitude? With the same temper?

Or

Do you want to be the best version of yourself? Do you want to get that new place? Get that new car? Get that 750 credit score? Meet your dream man/woman? Make more money? Become fit? Eat healthier? You get the point. Life is really what you make it. You are responsible for the way your life changes. Every decision you will ever make will always determine your outcome. I don’t know about you but this year is going to be the best year of my life thus far. I have already set my intentions and will be saying a very specific prayer before bed.

This year, I am no longer having the same conversations that I would usually have. Everything is preparation. I can only have conversations that cause forward movement. I don’t care what so and so is doing or who they are talking to. That is none of my concern. We should all prepare and not compare. Become obsessed with the evolution of self.

Get things in order. Prepare for a great year and be consistent. Start by cleaning up your social media, car, and home. Make sure you get a planner and a journal to help stay organized and stress free. This year is all about PREPARATION!!!!

Remember, Change starts with you and every decision you make determines your outcome. What will you choose?

Something greater lies ahead.
