Well behaved women rarely make history…

This post is dedicated to the many women who sacrifice their needs and wants for their families to thrive. May you continue to break down barriers and create legacies for generations to come. You are appreciated!!!

Women are so vital to this world. Yet, we still don't get the credit we so rightfully deserve. Many are silenced and shamed for our bodies, careers, and in relationships. We endure a lot for our families. Sometimes sacrificing our dreams and needs for our children to have the brightest futures. Today celebrate every woman you meet. Have a conversation. Her story might surprise you.

Never forget that you get to choose your own narrative in life. You can choose whether you go to college. You can decide on the career path that’s best for you. You can wear what you want. Date who you want. Have sex with who you want. Never let anyone make you feel bad for living your life unapologetically.

Currently there is a war on women across social media and different podcasts. The message that is being conveyed boils down to men Never being satisfied. We’re gold diggers or too independent. Sluts or wifey. Good girls or hoes. Our skirts and dresses are too short or too long. We dress too revealing or like a nun.

Do you see my point?

Why not be that woman that you are too scared to be?

I get it you need validation. I use to feel that same exact way before my blinders came off. You see men will always look for more. You can be the freakiest freak that he has ever known, or even the perfect good girl that stays home. He will still look for more. You are never enough for a man who doesn't truly love and value you.

Be that woman who doesn't give a damn. Let him go or stay. You decide.

It took me 35 years to truly get comfortable with who I am, my body, my way of life, and how I decide to dress. Do not let anyone put you in a box. Be multifaceted. Create an air of mystery. Don't be so predictable. Shock these men. When they cross you let them know. If you want to stay home do that. If you want to be in love and have a hot girl summer do that. You can do and have both. You create your narrative. You decide who your costar will be. Stop being so closed-minded and flourish girl. The right man for you will love everything about you. He will want you to thrive. He will want you to totally embody everything you’ve always wanted to be. He will stand beside you. He will protect you. He will create a sanctuary for both of you to exist and get totally wrapped up in your inner worlds together.

Be who you want, and not who you wish you could be.
